Presented by Delois Pearsall, LCSW-C and Megan Wills, LCSW-C Similar to a windy path, road or hike, the path of permanency in foster care and adoption is not linear. When reshaping first family and new family systems, the creation may be beautiful, but also complex and difficult for all constellation members. These challenges can often be ignored and unacknowledged. This training will briefly review the core issues of permanency from Part I and will focus on providing healing steps for loss, rejection, shame & guilt, grief, identity, intimacy, and mastery & control. This training will equip practitioners with more knowledge and application skills to address common challenges and core wounds in the world of permanency. When we acknowledge loss and trauma, we are providing a new pathway to creating strong, tenacious and nurturing family systems. Registration Fee: $20.00
